Resources

It is a cornerstone of this project that, in order to combat historical erasure in gentrifying communities, we need to embed historical and archival practice in communities themselves. The goal is to empower communities to shape their own historical narratives by deciding what is important to preserve, and help them preserve it themselves. To this end, we have created and made freely available resources for teaching yourselves or others the basics of historical and archival practice as well as a list of external resources. We will continually add to these, so please check back in and contact us if you have suggestions or feedback.

Lastly, our IoS mobile application will be available soon through the Apple Store. Please watch a demonstration of the app by one of our student developers here.
